Solar Rollers Tour Vermont!

The Solar Rollers, a grass-roots anti-nuclear bicycling group, was initially formed in 1978 to journey to the Seabrook Nuclear Power Plant from Western Massachusetts. Their unusual method of demonstrating a commitment to renewable energy as a form of transportation is an example to us all of how we could choose to live.

Setting off on Sunday, August 10th from the Vernon Nuclear reactor, they will journey throughout the western part of the state to take their message to citizens to show them how they can have a voice in the state's future power generation.

Join us for a day or a week!

There will be a sag wagon for limited support!

Potlucks and presentations each night about replacing ENVY!

Aug 19 - ride to Hinesburg - 6 pm - Hinesburg Public Library, 69 Ballards Corner Road

Aug 20 - ride to Jericho-Underhill - 6 pm - Community Center

Aug 21 - ride to Enosburg Falls - 7 p.m. Episcopal Church, Church Street

Aug 22 - ride to St Albans - 6:30 p.m. Hudak Farm Route 7

Aug 23 - ride to Grand Isle - camping

Aug 24 - ride to Burlington - 5:30 pm - Workers Center, N. Winooski

Aug 25 - 9 am - meet at City Hall Park, Burlington, ride to 3pm Closing Rally at Statehouse steps, Montpelier!!
